The holiday season has already started and that means family, friends, and lots of yummy treats to get everyone into the spirit. One thing I always seem to overlook is the holiday drinks. One of our absolute favorite drinks is Caramel Apple Cider, not only does the entire house smell like cinnamon and apples, but it’s nearly effortless and you can just let it simmer on warm all day while you’re busy doing everything else!
This Caramel Apple Cider tastes very similar to the Starbucks version and the added benefit is, you get up to 16 servings for a fraction of the price! Win Win!
- 128 fl oz. Apple Cider
- 1 Green Apple
- ¾ cup Caramel Syrup
- 5 Cinnamon Sticks (around 3″ each)
- 6 Cloves (whole)
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- Cut apple into thin slices
- Add apple cider, caramel syrup, cinnamon sticks, cloves and apple slices to slow cooker. Cook on low.
- Remove cinnamon sticks, remove cloves and stir before serving. Serve hot with whipped cream (optional)

Awesome thank you Aubrey!! I’ll be heading back over shortly!
I saw this on YumGoggle and it definitely caught my eye. I’m always on the lookout for delicious hot beverages that don’t include coffee.
This sounds fabulous! I think I may try it for Thanksgiving.
